As we transition through Autumn, we note the changes in our environment. Leaves changing colour, days becoming shorter and warming, autumnal menus on display.
Whilst transiting this period, consider what change means for you? Do you embrace change and its challenges, or do you hibernate away like some of our furry friends?
Change is designed to be disruptive, challenging and yet, transformational.
Consider using this autumn to reflect upon what’s changed within you and your environment since the beginning of the year. List the changes that you’re aware of and identify what you like about the changes you’ve already experienced? Notice what ignites discomfort in you when you reflect. How do you experience discomfort; is it a thought or bodily sensation?
What else needs to further change for you this year and why?
You may wish to process your thoughts by writing them down or by drawing symbols and choosing colours to reflect your current feelings. Date your work and revisit in a week of two – note if your perception has shifted and identify what steps (if any) you need to take to enact your future plans (changes).
With warm (autumnal) wishes
